Greyhound Farm Visit Today

Today our Greyhound rescue group paid a visit to a greyhound breeding operation in Buffalo, WV. Sounds like a strange trip for a greyhound rescue group, but this is an uncommon breeding operation with a true love for the dogs. It is about dogs first, racing second. The folks there are awesome and work hand-in-hand with rescue organizations to adopt out all of their dogs. The kennel was spotless. It would be great if all of the greys in the racing business were treated this way.

There were about 140 dogs there today. They had all ages from puppies to adoptables. They breed, raise, train, race, then adopt all of them. It was hard not to pick up a puppy and take it home!

Hats off to everyone ant the Country Roads Kennel!
